Privacy Policy

TaroTaper is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or share any personal information. The App does not require account creation, login, or any form of user registration.

We do not collect any of the following:

• Names, email addresses, or contact information
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Browsing or search history
• Contacts, photos, or other personal files
• Health, fitness, or financial data
• Usage analytics or behavioral tracking data

The App stores a small amount of data locally on your device to provide its core functionality:

• Daily card history — your daily card and its AI-generated interpretation are saved on your device so you can review them throughout the day.
• App preferences — settings such as notification preferences and whether you have completed onboarding.
• Subscription status — a cached indicator of your subscription state for faster app launch.
• Random seed — a locally generated random identifier used solely to provide unique daily card selections. This value never leaves your device.

All of this data is stored exclusively on your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party. You can delete all stored data at any time by uninstalling the App.

When you request an AI-powered tarot card interpretation, the App sends the following information to our server:

• The tarot card(s) selected (card name and position)
• Your device's language setting (to provide the interpretation in your language)

This data is processed in real time to generate your interpretation and is not stored on our servers. No personal identifiers, device information, or user accounts are associated with these requests. Each request is fully anonymous.

Apple (App Store & StoreKit)

If you purchase a subscription, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details. Apple's handling of your data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy (apple.com/legal/privacy).

No Other Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or social media SDKs. We do not use Firebase, Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, or any similar services.

The App may request permission to send you local notifications (daily card reminders and spread reminders). These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and do not involve any external push notification services. You can manage or disable notifications at any time through your device's Settings.

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since the App does not collect personal information from any user, no special provisions are necessary.

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share any user data with third parties. The App includes a share feature that allows you to share tarot card images or results, but this is entirely user-initiated and uses your device's built-in sharing functionality.

All communication between the App and our interpretation server is encrypted using HTTPS. Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is minimal risk of data breach affecting your personal information.

Since we do not collect personal data, there is typically no personal data for us to provide, modify, or delete. All App data is stored locally on your device and can be removed by uninstalling the App. If you have any questions about your data, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
